Meet Michael Mc Bay, M.D.:

Michael Mc Bay was born in 1955 in Atlanta. His parents were prominent academic professors in chemistry and mathematics. After receiving an academic scholarship, Michael integrated Atlanta’s last private white High School during the 60’s and experienced first-hand the discrimination characteristic of the integration years in the South. Michael Mc Bay attended Stanford University, UCLA Medical School, and entered Emergency Medicine Residency at King/Drew Medical Center in Los Angeles, all the while performing original music in rock clubs at night. It was in connection with his performance activities that he became addicted to crack cocaine, which resulted in the loss of almost everything he had worked for, including his medical license.

With the help of God, John-Roger, his mother, martial arts and a few close friends, Michael overcame his drug addiction and has completely reinstated his life as well as his medical license and practice. As part of his recovery, he endeavors to assist other recovering persons and physicians. This book is a natural extension of this endeavor.
